Our advanced geothermal heating system harnesses the Earth's natural heat, ensuring zero CO₂ emissions while providing a comfortable and energy-efficient environment.
How does it work?
- 160-meter-deep geothermal probes capture the Earth's heat and distribute it throughout the residences and common areas at an optimal temperature of 35-40°C.
- Reversible heat pumps ensure uniform and efficient heating, significantly reducing energy consumption.
- For peak demand and hot water production, the system is supported by a methane gas boiler provided by AIL, activated only when necessary to optimize energy use.
A Pleasant Coolness in Summer
At Residence Resort Collina d’Oro, the same geothermal technology is used to absorb excess heat and release it back into the ground, ensuring a naturally balanced and energy-efficient cooling system.
How do we ensure optimal comfort even in summer?
- For common areas and the SPA, reversible heat pumps extract heat to maintain a cool and comfortable environment. The absorbed heat is then dissipated into the ground through geothermal probes, naturally replenishing thermal energy and ensuring a constant energy balance.
- In the apartments, a centralized direct expansion cooling system keeps indoor temperatures pleasantly comfortable, even during the hottest seasons.
